Hello my name is Shy. I would first like to explain what my blog is about and why I have decided to share information about autism and get the word out so mothers, fathers, and even teachers can understand and learn more about it. I did not know much about autism but then I had my daughter, she was born healthy, with no complications, and is very smart. She was a normal baby but as she got older I started to notice little things like her rocking back and forth on the couch for hours this started when she was about 1yr old. I asked a few of my friends about it because I wasn't sure if this was normal, or if maybe something was wrong, a few of my friends told me that it could be just a way for her to calm herself when she got upset, but some others told me that it could be an early sign of autism. I then decided to educate myself and find everything I could about autism spectrum disorder. Now I would like to share my knowledge and understanding autistic symptoms by posting everything I know about autism and everything I come to find.
